2. Age Restrictions
- You must be 18 years or older to purchase fireworks.
- We reserve the right to request valid photographic ID (passport, driving licence, PASS card) at the point of sale or delivery.
- Orders will be cancelled if age verification cannot be completed.
3. Safety Precautions
- All fireworks must be used in accordance with the UK Firework Safety Code.
- Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions and ensure fireworks are used in a safe and legal environment.
- We are not liable for injury, damage, or loss arising from the misuse of our products.
4. Product Availability
- We aim to ensure all items listed on our website are in stock.
- In the rare event a product is unavailable after purchase, we will contact you promptly to offer an alternative or a full refund.
5. Prices and Payment
- All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT at the applicable rate.
- We accept major debit/credit cards and other payment methods displayed at checkout.
- Orders are only processed once payment has cleared in full.
6. Delivery
- Delivery information, timescales, and charges are outlined in our Delivery Policy.
- All deliveries require an adult (18+) signature upon receipt.
- We cannot deliver to PO Boxes or addresses outside the United Kingdom.
7. Refunds and Exchanges
- Due to the combustible nature of fireworks, returns are not accepted unless the goods are faulty or damaged upon delivery.
- If a product is defective, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt with photographic evidence.
- Refunds will only be issued once the fault is confirmed.
8. Cancellation Policy
- Orders cannot be cancelled or modified once placed due to the time-sensitive and hazardous nature of our products.
- This is an exception to the 14-day cooling-off period under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.
9. Liability
- Scottish Fireworks (Highland Fireworks Ltd) will not be held responsible for any injury, damage, or loss caused by improper use of products.
- Our liability will not exceed the total value of the order.
10. Changes to Terms & Conditions
We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Updated versions will be posted on our website with a revised “Last updated” date.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
